CRC Property Group LLC

The trio of owners of CRC Property Group and CRC Development Group LLCs, Jack Cavanaugh (right), Brian Ross (center) and Bert Chiu (left) not only bring a passion for creating exquisitely-designed homes, but the desire to do something uniquely different – to juxtapose and introduce an architectural style which previously has not been seen in the greater Sioux Falls area. 

Brian, the local ‘hands on’ Director of Development for CRC was, in fact, born and raised in Sioux Falls, along with his wife and family.  Moving back to their South Dakota origins after 17 years of a ‘fast-paced lifestyle’ in San Diego, the Ross’s were looking to begin a more relaxed chapter in their lives along with their grown children – and at the same time, Brian yearned to apply his background in architectural design and home construction to their new surroundings.

Based on their combined familiarity of the varied influences in the home styles of southern California, it was CRC’s collective vision to introduce a Tuscan-themed development to the Sioux Falls area.  The company initially purchased a 5-acre parcel of land along the southern shores of Wall Lake with the intent of starting their first CRC project there - appropriately named ‘Lake Shore Luxury Estates’.  But due to some unforeseen setbacks, this effort was postponed and Tuscan Club Estates came to the forefront of CRC’s development priorities.

Breaking ground in November of 2007, the luxuriously-appointed model home (see photo gallery) was completed in May of 2008 - just in time for the Spring Parade of Homes.  Resembling many of the Mediterranean-styled homes seen in California in terms of exterior appearance, this distinctive residence is configured as a ranch-style ‘walkout’, while retaining unique design elements such as a casita, a full-width covered loggia (upper deck) and portico (lower patio) and a private courtyard – features which are immensely popular in other parts of the country.

Built to showcase the design and craftsmanship capabilities of our company, Residence Plan 1 (of eight plan designs) is one of only 16 homes comprising this exclusive development.  With two other homes having been completed (one of them recently sold), and another under construction, activity in the development is gaining momentum.

In association with the local marketing expertise of Dave Mettler of the ‘Real Estate Retrievers LLC’, we are anticipating 2010 to be an exciting year for our development.
